Riccio
This decoration is a standard, a classic pattern of the history of Alvino Bagni/Nuoveforme since the early seventies’ when it was conceived by Alvino Bagni that after its development he also designed and made a special tooling to perform this decoration at best.
Riccio is a stunning combination of geometrical decoration and complexity of execution combined with linearity and rigor.
50 years after its creation we have thought to launch a new project that we have conceived as a sort of contest with no winners or losers, where the designers were asked to re-interpretate Riccio pattern with few restrictions and limitations to freedom of expression.
The project will take off at the time of 2022 Salone del Mobile and we will periodically release the works that the designers have created, one single project for each of the selected designers.
